Job Description

The Customer Service Clerk will be part of a small team of representatives that assist Pikeville residents and businesses with inquiries regarding water, wastewater, and garbage services. The candidate selected for this position will be the first point of contact with customers over the phone and in person. The candidate must have excellent customer service, organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a United States citizen or eligible to work in the U. S.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving & time management skills
  • Experience with billing/payment systems, data entry, and collections.  
  • Must successfully pass drug screen, background, and credit check.

Job Type: Full time / permanent position

Salary: Based upon experience and qualifications

Required education: High school diploma or equivalent
